  • Failed Smoke Test II (Evacuation Test): If the smoke isn’t going up properly, swirling around, or coming back into the room, it tells us there’s a poor draw or a backdraft issue. We’ll look for visible blockages (creosote, debris) and clear them, check the chimney liner for cracks, make sure your chimney cap is intact, and evaluate the chimney design to ensure it’s the right height and diameter.
